Part 2 of Eli and Eric’s review of the game Heroes of Tara! They finish off the classes and then get into the new skills and spell rules. Also worth noting: Eli and Eric mistakenly referred to the Tuatha De Danann as creator gods but the book clearly states that humans were living on Eriu before they arrived. They also got “kelpies” and “selkies” mixed up; the former are vicious water horses and the latter were shapeshifting seals.
In this game review, Eric and Eli talk about a game that uses 5e rules to craft a world set in mythical Ireland. About halfway through this episode they realized that they needed to do a part two so that they could share their thoughts on this amazing stand alone setting.
In this episode of game reviews, Eric and Eli talk about Renegade Game Studios Power Rangers. You might be partially familiar with it since the podcast has been playing it for our season 3, but it can still be fun to listen to a full discussion of the game.
In this bonus episode, Eli and Eric talk about Subversion by Fragging Unicorns. Subversion is a wonderfully designed fantasy cyberpunk game; Eli and Eric talk about the mechanics, lore, art, and of course how Eli is not a fan of the cyberpunk genre but finds this game compelling.
In this bonus episode, Eli sits down with Robby Howel about their new game called Enclave. Enclave is a diceless RPG that has been fully funded on Kickstarter.
You can still back the Kickstarter here. You can find examples of play on Robby’s YouTube channel here. You can also join their Discord channel to check out news about Enclave here.
Listen to Eli, Eric, and Ashley dig into the new game system; Everyday Heroes. They talk about some of the different aspects of the system that make it unique and that make it inviting to new players.
